Being a fine powder,it blows about.
I hope ISIS don't latch onto it swims, imagine that!

So could it be someone who wants it to appear that Russia is behind this .

I think she should be careful what she says or does the last leader we had that went off half cocked was Blair and he and the country later regretted it with the loss of so many British servicemens lives.
Loads of unanswered questions on this (the poisoning of former double agent)
She should hold back until Russia answers them and not go off sanctioning everything before the truth comes out.

Re: The Strange Case of the Russian Spy.

I think as some media commentators said once it was pretty certain the Russians were involved, this whole sorry story is almost certainly intended for the edification of the Russian public.

Elections are are due in Russia, the economy is failing and Putin is trying to bolster his public image at home by showing how strong and powerful he is zapping traitors under the nose of the 'weak British' and encouraging the Russian media to make fun of us saying it isn't safe to live here.
All this detracts from what is going on in Russia.

However something which began as a temporary distraction has the potential to escalate into a new cold war situation and that will not benefit anyone.

I think the man targeted will have made many enemies it could be any one of them but the question remains how did they obtain the stuff.

Is it easy to make if you have the knowledge...perhaps Swims will know.

Not often does Corbyn offer anything of value but in this case I tend to agree with him.

Thought so from the onset of this criminal activity. The reason is that US , and as we know from previous to Brexit, there were many pointing fingers from EU member states towards Russia and the threats Russia presented.
All seemed to quieten after Brexit, but US agenda is most definitely on Russia's war path.
Russia have control in Syria and US don't like that. Russia are getting in the way of US ambitions . To get more and more sanctions from as many countries as possible against Russia would be the ultimate.
So what better way than to make a situation arise by triggering expulsion of Russian Diplomats ? Let's see how far this goes , will EU countries follow suit and help create another cold war ?
We should remember what General Wesley Clark had to say about US ambitions of taking out 7 countries in 5 yrs. They're a bit delayed , but still on the same mission .

The only thing that is confusing to me at this moment about this attempted murder is, if the substance has almost immediate effect, how much time did elapse before they collapsed ? Also how is it the park bench stayed in the same place for days and possibly still there ?

Re: The Strange Case of the Russian Spy.

What happened was scary and terrible but from what I understand, the man and his daughter are alive. My question now is....Will whoever did this have another go to finish the job? Not just endangering the man and his lass, but anyone else who happens to be around. It seems they don't give a toss if they hurt innocent bystanders.

This woman, Nikki Haley is a hard madam and her words resonate back to the Bush/Blair 'shoulder to shoulder' speech, that well and truly locked us into a nasty invasion of Iraq , and from which the fall out continues toady.
