Quite the contrary Twink, we all saw the pain he was experiencing as his organs were failing and hoped that the end would be soon.

It's so hard for Mrs Fox to go through all of her Dads stuff to inform all of his friends of his passing, there are regular bursts of emotion and I'm just doing my best to support and comfort her......

Bob, your wife will have a very emotional time dealing with this, wait till the sympathy cards start to arrive.
I don't know how quickly you will have to clear his home, but I hope she will have some help when deciding what should go and what should be kept. It would be nice if she could keep a treasured possession of his at your home.
I always think that things get better after the funeral, because that is the time that you know you have to say goodbye.
