Re: Where would you sit?

I wouldnt sit anywhere as I wouldnt go in the first place ...not my kind of "do" to be eating out with a large group of people or strangers....My limit on friends or family meals is about 6 people at a push

Re: Where would you sit?

Wife (ex) and I would usually sit separately, sometimes at opposite ends of the table. Not because we wanted to be apart but that way we could each talk to more people.

Generally though, I won't take a middle seat. This is not because of shyness but to let somebody else be at the centre of the conversation. Usually grab an end or near-to-end seat.

Re: Where would you sit?

On cruise day trips off board the ship I often sit with complete strangers. I actually find the diversity of conversation enjoyable

Re: Where would you sit?

If I'm honest it's not my thing at all dining with total strangers but hubby is quite chatty so I let him do most of the talking.

Re: Where would you sit?

I wouldn't care where I sat as long as the food was good, preferably not on the floor though..

Does it matter? It wouldn't bother me where I sat.

No, it doesn't matter, but first to the table you have the choice.

Vaniy, I agree round tables are best but it wouldn't have worked here, not sufficient space!
