Can you laugh at yourself?

I think being able to laugh at yourself is a virtue, it is far better than taking yourself too seriously.

Fortunately I do possess this virtue, as being such a daft old bat there is plenty to laugh at as my family will tell you!

Yes I laugh at myself, I told meself a joke about my nose the other night and I was in stitches.
I think it’s all part of the give and take in life, although I know a few who think they are above all that, they think they are always right and perfect and everyone else is wrong, to them I say dream away, you’ll wake up to reality someday.

I laugh at myself every day even when alone.
It is much better than crying

Somtimes i laugh in my sleep and wake up laughing as well

Every time I look in the mirror and when I do daft things.
I went hysterical in Tesco last week because I'd written something really funny on my shopping list and couldn't work out what I meant!

Yes if I didn't I'd cry, when your body becomes an enemy it's essential.

I believe that if you cannot laugh at yourself then you have no right to laugh at anyone else - the cats and my mirror agree !

I usually laugh after l have told myself off! I need a sense of humour to hear what l've called myself!!
