Who doesn't own a cat or a dog on here?

Sorry but I don't. It appears most do. Is it a requisite for forum membership?

We owned loads of cats and dogs in the past, but when the last dog died in 2002, and the last cat disappeared, probably shot by pheasant shooters, I put my foot down. I was the poor idiot who had to look after the things.

Cough, my moggy threw up on the bedroom carpet again, in the night. Luckily I didn't step in it.

I've always had a dog, however I now have 5, (too soft and living where dogs find us). But I can't go on holidays because of them. When they die off, never again

I've never owned a pet in my life. I never really saw much of a point to it.

I don't ever want to be without an animal, I adore dogs and cats and have always had one or the other even as a child. I don't ever want to be without an animal, I like them better than a lot of people lol

I have a budgie but he has the freedom of the house every day and is never shut in till he decides to retire for the night then he goes into his cage on his own.
I would not have a dog as to me they need a lot of exercise and I am not able to do this and it would not be fair on the dog.
I am not a cat lover.

I had cats and dogs when I was growing up. When I left home and started work is was a bit impractical.

When I was about to retire I got two things. A dog and a camera. Both get me out walking.

So yes, there is a point.
