Gnome

I can't even identify this strange creature from the zoo visit yesterday. It had a troll-like appearance, peeking our over this little tree limb. It seemed to blend into its environment. I couldn't differentiate between his torso and the tree limb he was on. His eyes were penetrating. In reality this is a Red-handed tamarin. NEX-5N 55-210mm F/4.5-6.3.

I've had a look on the net Bob and your "Gnome" looks very much like the Golden-handed tamarin or Midas tamarin .....
