Excellent news that she's leaving, in my opinion anyway. Perhaps we'll see far less homo-kissing (and worse) and other exaggerated PC-isms.

I wonder whether there have been numerous complaints along those lines!
I hope the gay kissing stops then again I don't particularly want to watch straight couples kissing either really, hugs'll do

Re: Coronation Street

Oh Aiden - why did you do it?

Did anybody cry at last nights Corrie?
Seeing Johnny in such distress made me blubber.

Re: Coronation Street

I think the hour long episode was far too long, such misery. Yes it was very sad and I expect it was upsetting viewing for many people.

I thought it was rather sudden, didn't you Carol?
I hadn't seen any indication of him being depressed except for perhaps the last couple of days.

In fact, I thought recently he had been chuffed to bits about taking over Underworld.
Shame really, I quite liked him.

I agree Johnny's acting was good.

Re: Coronation Street

It was very sad last night and Johnny’s acting was spot on .... it could have been his real son instead of a fellow actor.

In real life suicide cases there are often no signs of the person involved being distressed enough to take their own life.

Re: Coronation Street

Watched it this morning, and thought Johnny was excellent. As were David and Shona.

I quite enjoyed the hour long episode, and didn’t want it to end.

Jenny’s character was spot on...talking nonsense and being insensitive! But liked the Sally voice over, the words, and the silent images of the others’ reactions.

Emma...hope David gets rid. And please, Shona, tell his Mum and family. They need to know.

What do you think he has put in his Will? Looks set to be more upset for the family...

Re: Coronation Street

I was thinking that he has given all his money to the Baby in his Will, then his family will question, what baby? where?

I didn't like Katy's acting though.
