Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Hi Sue . I had a dilemma. Feeling very clever because I got a new Hub for Internet . All was well then I lost my phone signal, Broadband and my alarm to alert if I fall was telling me every 5 minutes that my telephone wasn't working !!
Luckily one of my neighbours was outside so he did his best then our handyman turned up so he managed to message BT about the problem . I had a right panic ,no phone,no internet and no alarm. Then I remembered we all managed perfectly well without these things
Next day my daughter turned up because she had a message from Jody in Australia saying I couldn't be contacted .Lol
Nice man came just now and got it all going tg
Hope everybody is ok xxx

Thank goodness for that Jac, I was beginning to worry! As you say, we did manage before we had all the gizmos didn't we?

Catch up day today, made a casserole for tomorrow's tea and went to town to the Bank. Actually I didn't go to the Bank - I paid in the Church collection at the PO - our Bank will be closing on Wednesday and apparently the queue to get in there this morning was out the door and down the pavement!

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Changeable day today , had to clean my window because it must have lashed down last night, window full of sand and salt smears .
Not done much else
I had asked for paper bills for telephone etc because couldn't get in to see it on-line . Imagine my surprise when I got 2 booklets of A size print all in Braille !!
