Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Its very strange here. It was so dark I woke up later and had to put the light on. Then the sun tried to come out and the wind picked up . Its stunning out there at the moment with sun on huge waves. Too rough for the surfers.
Laura my g/daughter phoned me and told me to stay in and with the one in Aus sending out a search party on Sunday(Daughter) because my phone was down I am feeling my age lol

So dark first thing this morning but the sun was out when I cam out of the Cathedral about 12 o'clock. Blowing a gale though, and it's getting worse here. We've had one power cut, so sitting here with the matches to hand and proper candles in the candlesticks. Carer has a proper torch in Rob's room.

Thanks Rhosyn . The Doc was very helpful so reduced some meds and increased others. Got to take his advice . Wish I could find some Marajana{sp?) Think I might try it
Chilly at the moment and slight drizzle but when I was out wearing a jacket I was sweating

Wet and windy in Berkshire this morning.
Had a nice day out in Windsor yesterday.
Was going to travel back to Wales tomorrow but the forecast is terrible so will leave it until Sunday to travel.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Went into Windsor yesterday afternoon-wish I hadn't,had my purse stolen from my handbag. The swine unzipped my handbag and stole my purse,I knew nothing about it until I went to my handbag to get my glasses to look at prices in Next.Phoned my son who came to my aid, went to the bank to stop my debit card( I don't have a credit card)There was about £70 in it and a £50 Next gift card. The other cards were loyalty cards. As you you imagine I felt really sick.My son was marvellous.
Keep safe in this storm-glad I'm travelling back tomorrow.
