Breaking news, John Worboys to stay in prison

Apparently the High Court has quashed the decision by the Parole Board to release this animal.

Sanity at last....

Good news I'll be interested to see what happens next though as parole boards must be reformed if this is a typical judgement that they'd make.

Making the Parole Board decisions and reasons public, would be logical.

Is to remain in Jail.

But this does bring up the question why the parole board do not have to give an explanation on their findings on why they release people on life sentences early.

Parole Board’s Rule 25, which currently bans the disclosure of information about its decisions, violates the principle of open justice.

Open justice is a central tenet of the court system which, judges have held for many years, maintains public confidence by ensuring justice is seen to be done and that the process can be reported by the press.

Yes I was hoping for more though, proper open decision making, take into account other crimes they may have committed.
