Please Can Someone Identify This Tree Or Shrub, For Me?

A while back l bought a standard rose from a garden cantre and there were two little plants growing in the soil in the pot.
As it was from a garden centre, l thought they must have come from ‘something special’ and they weren’t weeds!
This one in the pic has grown very tall and has greenish hairy type flowers growing on it.
I have looked in my RHS Good Plant Guide but can’t find anything like it yet!
Maybe, someone could kindly help me out?

Can you go through the alphabet to see if it jolts your memory?

At least, the fact you recognise it, means that l am not growing a weed!

Maddy, I once grew two bottle brush/Callistemon trees from cuttings but they both died in a bad winter. I was really sad!

I am not sure, if this is a bottle brush as l’m sure the ‘brushes’ should be red and the leaves are different.

Maybe, it could be related to the Callistemon family?

I'm sure I saw one yesterday at the garden centre but didn't notice the name.

I think it's Fothergilla, I bought one for my late sister, it's other name is American Witch hazel I think.

Thank You! TessA,
This is a pic l have taken at a closer angle. It does make the flowers look bigger than they really are!
