Cheese on toast

I've only just had my tea but I've got cravings for cheese on toast. I'm going to leave it a couple of hours though. I have nice seeded bread, mature cheddar and some caramelised red onion chutney.

Do you like cheese on toast?

Thanks for sharing that with us Ffosse...
Where would the British Empire be today without the tales of cravings for a bit of Mature Cheddar eh?

Re: Cheese on toast

The world is a much better place for a couple of slices of cheese on toast, and I'm not averse to a smear of HP on mine...

Re: Cheese on toast

Try toppping each slice with a poached egg. If its done correctly, the white is firm, but the yolk is still 'runny'.
