Electric Fence

Does anyone have experience of using an electric fence to keep badgers out?

I know there are various components involved, but I've no idea what they are or what they do. I think need to run it off a car battery, though I do have mains power outside, so more options there.

AS badgers tunnel anyway I doubt if an electric fence would keep them out. better to put up a sign low down saying
"Badgers please keep away from here"

This electric fence won't be a permanent structure, I also want to place the fence in different places around the garden.

Thanks for your post though - I'll make enquiries.

PS. These badgers are illiterate!

Re: Electric Fence

if you run it off the mains you'll electrocute yourself but off a car battery ? - it will just make ya hair go frizzy!
