Second Council goes 'bust'!!!

Yet another 'nasty party' controlled Council is in severe financial difficulties. Following from 'Nasty party' controlled Northamptonshire having to call in Government administators, I wonder how many more will go 'bust'???

It used to be trumpeted that the 'nasty party' was the one party who could be trusted with public finances, seems they are now losing that title big time.

Somerset councils are merging into one huge one.
They don't get back to you now so heavens knows what it will be like then!
I asked why my tiny bungalow was in band B for council tax, no reply! They soon contacted me for payment though!

Yes, I heard this about Northants council.

That is the reason why when the road chevron got smashed up outside my front wall, they won't replace it now - no money they said.
