Re: A Snap General Election?

Labour as was and the Tories were essentially the same party with the same policies, just a slight change of priorities and a different approach. At least Labour is now distinct from the Tories.
Unfortunately, the average, largely apolitical voter sees the |Tories and a neverending stream of lies and massive exaggerations about Labour. No wonder the hapless, shambolic, hideously split, dishonest, zero-achieving Tories are maintaining a lead in the polls when, if there was any honesty and justice, they should be facing wipeout.
That being said, whether there is an election in a few weeks or a few years, I will vote as I have voted for quite a while now - for the candidate best placed to defeat the Tory. I will continue to do that until we have a decent, fair system of PR.

Re: A Snap General Election?

I can remember the days - just - when there were three healthy parties in UK - tories - labor and liberals and the liberals were often considered to be keeping the other two parties on healthier toes?? many people yearned for the liberals to just win - just for once!

Re: A Snap General Election?

People starting to finally realise that they are stuck in a 2-party political system where neither party is remotely interested in Britain. Both parties are simply puppets for the people who really run the show, people you don't get to vote for.

There won't be any real BrExit. These people spent 40 years pushing the UK fraudulently into the EU. They did it by stealthy and skulduggery and never gave the populous a proper vote on whether they wanted to give up their sovereignty and go into the EU.

The Orwellian state is already here. It's been here for years it's just people are too distracted to see it. Your freedoms are being whittled away.

What needs to happen is the masses wake up, see the con they are trapped in and reject the system of government we have. Arguing about Labour and Conservatives is simply what the ruling elite want you to do. That's the illusion of choice they give you to keep you pacified.

What would happen if the entire country revolted? The military wouldn't be able to hold the masses back.

That's why the "Matrix" is so important to maintain. People are comfortable in the Matrix, they give up their lives to go to work to earn money which they give back in taxes left right and centre. Life as it currently is, is a complete and utter con. We are born into a system of slavery, orchestrated by clever fiscal mechanisms and taxations which ensure you can never get ahead.

You must seek your own freedom.
