North Queensland model born and bred in the Daintree began her career as a teenager. Known for her glossy black beak and incredible blue feathers , out of more than 430 species of birds on the Days of the Daintree set, she is one of the most famous feathered fashionistas. She was one of 5 eggs though only 2 hatched, brought up in a tunnel on the banks of the Daintree. According to twitchers though she's not considered rare as her cousin Little Kingfisher she's always a pleasant sight you see. She made an attempt at a film career, appearing in the dining on the Daintree, Kingfisher eating fish and also digging a nest. Both films became instant hits with 3 like each. Azure Kingfisher.
