We think we all know best, but, if we don't, does anyone else know better.

Sometimes we do know best. Sometimes another person will.
It will depend on the subject or situation at the time.

This is quite complicated as if someone knows better how do we know they are? And if we know better who is going to tell us as we wouldn't ask anyone?

Well I suppose if something doesn't work satisfactorily doing it our way, yet someone else get's results - they must know better. (in that situation only).

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know. Know what I mean?
