I don't like wireless unless it's bluetooth - but I also find the batteries run out a bit too quick for me!

Re: Yet another new keyboard

Like others on here, I paid a bit more for a Logitec G11 gaming keyboard ( not for Gaming but for reliabilty)
It has illuminated keys which can be turned on full, dim or switched off. It also has volume control for your music.
I have had it for a few years now and it is great.

Re: Yet another new keyboard

Can anyone recommend a wireless keyboard with permanent letters? I now have 5 Microsoft keyboards that are unusable. My current kb was bought the end of last year and now the keys from W - P and A - J are blank. I don't believe it is beyond the capabilities of Microsoft to find a way of making them permanent and refuse to comply with this scam.
I need wireless because I sit across the room from the screen and don't want trailing wires.

Or learn to touch type!
Actually, it's not that difficult.

I've been touch typing for 50 odd years but it doesn't help unless you're typing sentences. To pick out odd letters, figures and symbols you need to see the keyboard.

Re: Yet another new keyboard

I´ve gone through many keyboards, I can wear the letters off within a week. The one I currently use, and have been using for almost 5 years now, is a small Logitech wireless keyboard, all letters, numbers and symbols are still clear. The only other keyboard I have had over the years which survived more than a week was Genius brand. I too touch type.

Gordon Bennett some of you must be heavy handed with all those damaged keyboards.
