United Kingdom is not so small after all!

This is fascinating!
You can move countries around to compare the sizes of them, The United Kingdom always looks so tiny to me on maps, but it's quite big when placed on other countries! http://thetruesize.com/#?borders=1~!...MA~!IN*NTI2NDA

It's tiny when it gets down to the equator!
Compare it to Kenya, for example.

I always thought we were a tiny island compared to other European countries. I was also amazed at the size of Australia compared to the USA.
Some American states are a similar size to the UK!
Definitely opened my eyes!
