Last year, when l lived on my own, it was £183.00 a month with the single allowance..

Now, with one of my daughters moving back home and the CT increase, my monthly payments are £256.00 per month.

At least, l don’t have to pay extra for emptying my four garden waste bins!

My Pensions are rising by 3%, but you must take 20% tax off that.

My Council Tax is rising by 5.99%.

I haven't got my update yet. Living in Hull it may go up about 5p.

Not got ours yet either Floydy, but I’m pretty certain it will go up the full amount allowed!

Ours goes up more than the nmw pay rise so it's not just pensioners suffering from these things.
