Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Still having problems with the road, icy, rutted and still has snow drifts. Luckily No.2 son came to the rescue and delivered the carer at 8 am and 2 pm. I will stay home this evening and do the evening shift myself, can't ask him again. Hope carer will be brave enough to drive up here tomorrow. Roses and I are off to Hereford to celebrate Fred's 80th birthday. Did loads of shopping this morning and took a neighbour with me. Her husband can no longer drive and she doesn't.

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

Had a lovely trip with Roses to the Bunch of Carrots for Freda's birthday lunch. Saw lots of folk I haven't seen for years.....

Quiet day today, apart from collecting grandson this afternoon. The younger one arrived early with his Mum having a suspected broken finger (playing rugby in breaktime). They strapped his fingers together to protect the damaged one and after a dose of Calpol he cheered up no end. Wondering if the boys are going to have a competition as to who has the most broken bones.....

Just made an apt for doc next Thursday . The lumps under my tongue are not any better so I should get them checked again .
No energy today so having a really lazy one .
You'll have to grab Roses and come down and see me Sue .It must be years since I've seen her(and you ) xx

Re: Over 50's Wales club (part 6)

We talk about you all the time Jac and yes, we will try to come down this spring - when it starts springing!

Quiet day today, doing some sewing in the conservatory. What a difference in temperature from yesterday. So cold last night with the wind blowing on it, it's almost warm enough to take off my cardigan this afternoon!

My neighbour has just moved a flock of his sheep down the road past me - glad they didn't knock my recycling bins over. They've been out since Monday - no sign of the recycling vehicle yet.....

Not too bad out this morning.
My new hob looks so bright-I've not used it yet don't want to spoil the newness! Will have to use it tomorrow-cooking Sunday lunch for my friend.
No plans for today.
Clocks go forward tonight-that'll confuse the dog!
