Kartcher window vac

I have bought one of these but it is just the vac and not the "Plus" version which includes a spray and cleaning product.

I haven't tried it yet but wondering what to use it with? Would just water with a drop of washing up liquid do the trick?

What do you use?

Re: Kartcher window vac

I'm not one to rave over household cleaning but I must say I am very pleased with the Karcher.

Mine did come with the spray bottle and cleaner but I wouldn't think they were essential at all; I don't intend buying the proprietary cleaner fluid when this runs out (but it appears to be lasting a long time)

I would think water with a minimum of detergent would be fine. Don't saturate the glass, just moisten it enough to loosen the dirt, wipe it round, then 'hoove'

I hope you will be pleased with the results

I've had one for a long time....it's been borrowed by family members till they all bought one of their own. I use a wash leather soaked in fairy liquid bubble the windows then use the Karcher.....brilliant....the windows, mirrors all the glass in doors are done in record time with little effort and seem to stay cleaner for longer.

I have a spray bottle full of water with a spoonful of Meths in.

Shake, spray, wipe and suck!

We bought a Karcher for vacuuming up the overnight condensation that gathers at the bottom of the windows in winter. I must try using it for cleaning the windows too.
