Yes Julie darlin' - I received my 'gold' badge for 50 'pints', but I also received an emerald one too for 75 pints.

I've no idea , I think I'm just run of the mill ordinary .I did give blood once , while having a cup of tea I fainted and fell under the table , I was really unwell for a couple of hours , I dare not give again as it was quite worrying at the time . I wonder why I was affected after all its only a pint

I often felt ill when giving blood. One of the nurses said to me that it was because my blood flowed quite quickly and suggest that I gave at a mobile unit where you are just reclined so didn't jump up from lying down
Whether there was truth in it, it worked for me and I continued to give blood until my own health stopped me

I'm not afraid of needles, however I'm not really keen on them either.
I'll be 74 by the end of April, perhaps I've left it too late to consider it?
