For what will you be remembered?

When you are dead what do you hope your family's lasting memory will be of you?

I hope mine will remember me and my crazy exploits with humour.

I doubt they'll remember me for much .... same as I won't remember them either.
Except me mum and dad, they were special to me.

You do pose some intriguing questions, Tarantula.

I would hope people will remember me as a good friend who never broke either a promise or a confidence.

Re: For what will you be remembered?

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

Why be remembered? It matters not one jot. Just as I will not have a funeral of any kind. My legacy is my two children and two grandsons, nothing else whatsoever matters.

I'd like to think I mattered to some and made a positive impact on their lives somehow
