buenas dias all. The sun is taking longer to wake up this morning, still a bit hazy outside. Lots to do today, starting with a trip to the bank. I took my friendīs daughter and her partner to the boulevard last night as they needed nappies and things for the baby, big mistake because whilst they were doing their baby shopping I was window shopping, well it was supposed to be window shopping but didnīt quite work out that way. I wish they would stop having these "close to Christmas bargains"

Good morning fellow members
colder here today and damp and miserable .I am feeling happy because work has started on my sons new house after a year of nitpicking planning officers and bats in the attic who were reluctant to move to their new accommodation. The roof is off the old farm house and it will be demolished the week after Christmas. This week the drive is being widening to take the heavy lorries and the crane.
There is a long way to go yet but at least something is moving at last

Just had a conversation with my mother about The Sound of Music. She tells me that my younger sister was quite a fanatic when it came to that movie. In a sense that she saw it many times. My older sister was sick and tired of experiencing my younger sister's love for the movie, that for Christmas she got her once a toilet tissue dispenser that played the theme of the movie everytime you pulled for the toilet tissue|
