Out for a meal !

Been out with friends for meal this evening. It was their treat for my coming birthday - so they chose the restaurant.

Never again. The food was dreadful, the service indifferent and the place cold and unwelcoming. Only thing in it's favour - it had a comprehensive Gluten free menu - one of the friends is Coeliac.

Quite how a french restaurant can make a complete mess of creme brulee just beggars belief !!

On the bright side I just had my lunch in and it was perfect.



Pepper steak medium rare - pink inside with just a dash of red, some HP sauce and a beer. Does lunch get any better than that?

My husband saw the picture, and wants to know why steak wasn't on the menu here. Thanks!

Sorry you didn't enjoy your meal ST. Especially when it was a treat for you.

It was awful, LMBs. Will never go there again. I had chosen salmon for the main course - and could have used it to sole my shoes!

To be honest i think there are so few restaurant's that serve good food these days, I eat out quite a lot but not really for the food mainly just to be with pals and be sociable.

I've come to the conclusion if you want good food cook at home.
