Re: OK

When I was a kid my parents had a German Shepherd. One night they came back from a night out at the pub and my Dad did the usual thing, took the dog out for a quick 5 minute walk up the road to the green, so she could have a wee before bedtime.

On this particular night he came back, locked the door and got into bed. Mum asked him the usual "Was the dog OK" at which point he sat bolt upright with a look on his face, jumped out of bed, pulled his trousers back on and rushed out of the house. Mum was obviously alarmed and rushed downstairs to find out what was going on, only to see Dad let himself back in with the dog trotting behind him.

The dog had been taught to always sit and wait at all kerbs and not move until told. He had left her sitting on the other side of the road, forgotten she was with him and come home without her!

When he went back for her she was still sitting there, waiting for him to come back.

Re: OK

All though most cats will not sit to command, i'm quite lucky with my Coco, she knows the word sit, and if she goes for her food in the kitchen I tell her to sit down first and she does, other times she will just blank me.
