Syrian War

Why does the West not hear what is being told them ? Why are they closing their ears and blaming Assad for everything? Why do the West not care to find the truth ?

This man explains the truth.. April 2017.

Why do the West not want to know the carnage and atrocities, being carried out by 'al Nusra' in East Ghouta and using Syrians as human shields ?
They are caging minority religious groups and rolling them down the street on the back of waggons !
Fake make -up being used to make the films that are being produced by the terrorist for our TV screens and media outlets. Fake deaths filmed by the terrorists for the West's media .
The terrorist are the only ones in the area who can make the films. I doubt any western journalists are lurking in the basement of the ISIS controlled hospitals waiting for the bombs to hit whilst under the control of ISIS or al Nusra (same thing really)

It's all an attempt to overthrow Assad, who the people voted for and who USA and Israel want out of the way. A pre-disposed plan from years ago to assist regime change in the Middle East. All to do with oil and gas, and they , US and Israel have no regard for the deaths of countless many, they have been responsible for . No shouting when the US were killing thousands of civilians in Mosul last year , trying to get rid of terrorists . Where did all the ISIS go to ? We still don't get any explanations... maybe given a first class ticket to the next regime to be overturned !

Re: Syrian War

Syria is doomed IMO they won't be happy until it's just reduced to rubble
It's as you pointed out the other day a proxy war, they are using it to play out a scenario no one else wants on their own country.

More and more countries are becoming involved if I were a Syrian I'd be out of there looking for a safer place to put down roots.

Re: Syrian War

The Syrians who remain can't get out. Road blocks, banks closed. No money and they have responsibilities such as children old people and animals.

All the Syrian people want is peace and for this war to be over. The USA , Turkey , and Israel will not allow that to happen until they get their own way.

Re: Syrian War

Syria is doomed to become the bloodbath of the Middle East ... maybe even the final battleground of the ME.

Snapshot of the war so far:
Is Assad going to win?
Turkey is now stepping into the fray. They hate the Kurds who were allies of the US and were a major force that dealt with Isis. So far so good.
Except ...recently Turkey strayed into Syrian foreign territory to bomb the Kurds.
Are the US going to hang out their Kurdish allies to dry?
After all, they are joined to the Israeli's by the hip right now in an almost embarrassing fawning clinch of mutual gratification.
Meanwhile .. Assad, alleged 'bad boy' is supporting the Kurds.

Anyone know what Putin thinks?
It is, to be true, a mess.

Re: Syrian War

Sounds plausible to me, rarely any smoke without fire. .... regime change has always been the name of the game in the ME. Look at Saddam Hussein and the West kindly bringing democracy to Iraq. Look at the now fractured Libya after the removal of Gadafi.

It was only a year or two ago Obama was intent on regime change in Syria. Without Putin stabilising the crisis then the US would have gone in guns blazing and kicked off something major.
I've often likened the problem in the ME to a jigsaw ... but we're knee deep in pieces without the lid to show how they could all fit together.

I think Putin is out of his depth, a couple of weeks ago he tried to hold peace talks but no one respected him enough to sit down. No one attended.

Oh please stop blaming Israel for everything!
It's quite obvious you hate Israel but blaming them for the Syrian civil war is too much. .
