Hibernate now that would be nice

Wouldn't it be great if humans hibernated like bears? They hibernate up to 7 months all tucked up in their caves no worries they don't even have to eat or go to the loo. Just think what you would save on the food bills and electric, gas etc. I suppose the old garden would look a mess when you woke up but never mind all that energy would soon sort that out.

One hibernates forever, when one is dead.

LOL, tarantula, so very true. I wouldn't relish spending half the year without living, without knowing what is going on because basically I am in a coma. What a waste of every precious moment left of our lives.

What's up Doc?
Come on life is for living, not hibernating.

Re: Hibernate now that would be nice

There was a theory that the very earliest humans used to hibernate and the 'Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)' is a hangover from that time. Don't think anyone ever proved it though.

Wouldn't it be lovely and warm to hibernate with bears - all that lovely snuggly fur ! Of course if they woke up first and were hungry ... !!!

Re: Hibernate now that would be nice

I wouldn't mind hibernating through the winter months when all the cold, flu and pneumonia germs have gone, I get fed up feeling ill all the time this last few years in the winter. I'd like to have not got any older though whilst hibernating hehe

Re: Hibernate now that would be nice

I often dream of hibernation in November. It's a superb idea. But now I am waking up to Spring.
