I am never mistaken about anything I do or have done in the past.
Now please do not ruin this thread it is not about me, have a bit of courtesy, and consideration for the other posters on here.

I am Maursey and have always been that name on every forum that I have joined. Some did call me Mo though.

I can't see why members change their names....Only perhaps because they are embarrassed as to who will know them.

I am proud of my user name and have never really been in any trouble regarding forums ( or anything else for that matter.Ha Ha)

I have been involved in heated discussions but then that is part of forums. If I find I have upset anyone then I don't find it hard to apologies.

Well some forums you would be silly not to have a different name, I post on DS and will tell anyone here my name but on a huge public forum like that not on your life would I say who I really am. I guess if you never say anything controversial you may be OK but hold any opinions you need not to be stalked by the nutters who take offence.

I haven't posted on any forums for awhile but I've always enjoyed this one, the members are friendly and polite ( even when feisty) and controversial topics aren't forbidden .... It's been my experience that it's okay if you agree to disagree ... great mods too

Thought to add, I've always been Maggs, Maggie or some version of the same, maybe folks change their forum name because their usual is already taken on a new forum?
