Well, there was this Jeweler, no puns!!!
He had a crush on me, his wife was away in London.
He would always be waiting as I started work, and when I finished.
Eventually, he spoke to me, I talk to anyone/everyone. He was nice, I got on well with him, he designed jewellery too. He asked me to come to his workshop. I did after work. He showed me uncut diamonds, he told me how they were cut, I was fascinated. I was being groomed I guess.
I went several times to his shop after work. He was so kind and liked teaching me about precious stones. One day he gave me a gift, I said I couldn't accept it, he put it in my handbag, when I wasn't looking.
It was a gold bracelet, I found it when I got home.
The next day, I took it back to him, but he argued, saying it was for friendship.

I'ma shakin all over!!

I had a sorta relationship with a rather rotund girl, whose family were a bit churchy - methodist ya know. it was of course all young and innocent - no sex were british ya know. I was then in the boys brigade - all flash and no dash in the same church [which has now been turned into rather flashy aparments - how garish!]

anyway - were was I - oh yes in the depths of old cheshire in the small village of xxxxxxx. we just held hands [ahh] and walked in the woodlands [double ahhh!] and then her Mama who was even more rotund than MY girl decided that things were getting too serious but of course I was a boys brigade boy in her church - how awkward - so she invited me around to tea one evening to her big house on the edge of the village and gentle explained that we should just stay friends and not get too romantic - feck said I this is NOT how I see it and left miffed!
