Not the best of nights, bad angina.

A dry day forecast and someone coming to help with the heavy lifting in the garden.

Good Morning Swimmy and all who follow.

It is already hot and sticky here - due to hit 75f by lunchtime.

Spending today in the kitchen - cooking, blanching, vac packing all the lovely fresh vegs Mr Sainsbury delivered yestermorn. Also - did a raid on the butcher's - have a Gammon joint to play with!

Good morning all, still dull here but a little warmer and hopefully may brighten up later.

Nothing much on my agenda other than the usual pottering, and I'll be preparing a salad for lunch..... some days the excitement is just all too much for me...

Good morning everyone! Its going to be a hot one today I think. Going out with the dog early, then pottering about. No other plans apart from keeping as cool as possible, heh! Have a lovely day everybody

Good morning everybody. It's a lovely sunny morning, 20 degrees already and set to be another scorcher.

My appointment yesterday didn't turn out as I'd hoped. There's no sign of improvement in my eye, more details in my Hi from hospital thread.

My daily chat with mum and then later this morning we're driving over to my eldest daughter to collect my grandsons who'll be here for a few days. We have a number of activities planned for the week so we'll be kept busy. Mum will probably come over at some time to see her great grandsons. A few small jobs in the garden need doing, one or two plants need repotting and my artichokes have a nasty attack of blackfly so they'll be getting a good spray.

Sorry you've had a bad night swimmy.

I'm looking forward to my early morning swim. I like to go early & Tony won't miss me. He'll still be in bed when I get back.

I plan on going to B&M Bargains for some compost & pot my geraniums up this afternoon.

good morning, bit of drizzle overnight. 6am Mrs M goes for a swim and i do my walkies. Another garden centre for some tall bamboos to finish off my current project, at least i got the stuff ready for the gardener next week

Good morning everyone dull and quite chilly.

I would like to cut the lawns if they are dry enough and plant some more lettuce. I have discovered a variety called Skilton that grows well in tubs and provides a constant supply of crisp tasty leaves throughout the summer.

Good morning all not a bad day, the sun is trying to push through the clouds.

Had a call from my daughter half hour ago to say she has had her 2nd covid vaccination which has been brought forward 4 weeks.

Pottering in the garden later.
