Re: Nigel Farage

I was in hospital during the referendum; otherwise I would have voted leave.

They are angry, upset and struggling to cope.

I pity them. I see you're trying to be nice to them , Julie, .....part of the British tradition of not kicking an adversary when they are down in the gutter, but You must admit.......it is tempting when they are lying in their own shit and blood, with ripped clothes and unkempt hair and still spitting insults.

We should try not to get dragged in to the gutter with them.

The way you see the remainiacs would explain much and this appears to co-ordinate with the fact that many of them are young people, inexperienced in life and quite outspoken about their unsubstantiated views.

We must hope and pray that, as they grow older and hopefully wiser, they become able to acquire some of the common sense that we Brexiteers already possess.

Gosh Purwell in the arrogant and patronising stakes you really do come first. I'm surprised you don't see that for yourself.

I am approaching 80 and voted remain, so am I senile? Three generations of my family and partners all voted Remain. It was not a topic discussed prior to the referendum, as we live in different areas of the country, so all independently had the same opinion.

That isn't how a forum works Purwell! If people have an opinion they don't need to have permission to post it.

People have made a lot of the generational divide but young here voted leave. I think people are using it to divide the country more.

Way I see it we all had a vote you had as much right to vote remain as I did to vote leave. It's what's happening after I'm not able to get my head around. I really thought naively we'd all try to make whatever the decision was work.

You cannot make something work when it is smashed to pieces.
