Fidget Spinners

I just saw yet another facebook post about fidget spinners. Having seen various posts with teacher friends complaining about them. This time it was some video with a cat playing with one.

So I thought I would look up what this craze is about. Now I think maybe I should get one! Apparently they work on some part of your brain to erase distraction and promote concentration. Weird science maybe, but now I'm curious.

Can't get to read the article unless I join the site. Not keen on that.

Re: Fidget Spinners

I've heard of these things .... think of worry beads.
Basically they're bits of plastic for fidgety people to roll between their fingers and .. well, fidget with.

I had some worry beads in the 80s never saw the appeal though. But people swear this widget "relaxes" them. I'm curious I guess.

Re: Fidget Spinners

There are two fidget spinners in our family, my sister's grandson has a red one, and my grandson now has a black one.
Oh, and today the Mail was giving them away free.
