Misheard Lyrics

As a new member, it may be that this subject has already been covered, in which case I apologise in advance .....

My BIL was in a band in Northern Ireland which was very successful at local level but I nearly choked laughing to hear him sing -

"Put your sweet lips a little closer to the foam" - Jim Reeves.

Any others?

Re: Misheard Lyrics

Anybody remember this misheard lyric

Paul Young. Every time you go away.

Wait for the chorus

Every time you go away
You take a piece of meat with you.

Re: Misheard Lyrics

Perhaps your BIL was singing about Guinness, Last Tango!

Michael Jackson sings, "Keep on to the post office, don't stop 'til you get enough!"

Possibly, TessA.

Recently my wee granddaughter, who is a Little Mix fan, can be heard singing " This is a shout out to my eggs (ex)" .
