Obviously on the occasions I have appeared on TV I have met so called 'celebs', but I have met them in my daily life too.

It depends who it is, Prof. Brian Cox, Brian Blessed, Martin Hughes Games, Tom Hardy, Sir David A, David Jason and a few others I might say I enjoy their work.
Others I'd not bother.

Saw Sid James many years ago disembarking a small boat in Torquay harbour he was carrying a couple of Sea Bass, obviously been fishing for the day, I remarked 'had a good day then Sid' he didn't even reply miserable git.

My ex boss used to deliver newspapers to most of the carry on stars when he was a kid.

I would because I talk to anyone even strangers. I've never met anyone famous though. I wouldn't treat hem any differently than anyone else or put them on a pedestal. However i think i.d be totally starstruck if I bumped into Hugh Jackman, Andrew Lloyd Webber or Trevor MacDonald the latter being my absolute idol.

A few years ago me and mrs primus had gone to Torquay on holiday( in April), we had gone on a day trip to kingswear and as it neared lunch time we stopped at a restaurant and were looking at the menu in the window, I was aware of another couple and their two children also looking in the window, I turned to look at them and thought I knew this chap, I could see the look in his eyes almost saying “ please don’t recognise me” at first I didn’t as he was sporting a beard, it was John Hannah, ( been in loads of stuff but I knew him from the mummy films), anyway I decided not to say anything but wish I had now,
My wife once served Ronnie Barker when she worked in fenwicks,

I'd speak to them but only if I liked them.

I'd just say something like "Excuse me aren't you David Jason? I just want to say how much I admire your work. You've been fantastic in every role you've played."

If it was an actor I wasn't bothered about I wouldn't approach them.
