I'd be more scared of burglars. Yes, I have some cash in the house but not a lot. Had to go out to ATM to pay the electrician. Usually I ask if they accept card payment or cheques before hiring them.

No money in the house and I often forget to get cash out which can be embarrassing going to pay for a small item in a shop

I tend to use my card for most things and switch.

Tony prefers cash so we always have about £100 in the house - sometimes more.

It's not a problem though - we have a small combination safe - a relic from when we had the business. It's in a well hidden place so no worries.

It doesn't worry me - first they'd have to cope with the very loud burgler alarm - then locate the safe which is in a secret place and lastly break the combination.

Somehow I think there are easier pickings!
