Wonder what UJ will say considering his rant about UKIP doing the same thing?

Re: Corbyn & Momentum Election Campaign Investigation

I kind of had a feeling this would be a topic on here, raised by the resident 'nasty party' member, and I was correct!!!

The scumbag 'nasty party' aren't exactly lily-white in this respect either - they too are being investigated by the Electoral Commission for over-spending.

Are any of the parties actually lily white, we hear these stories year after year for one or another party. It's time we realised these MPs etc are fighting for their jobs not the country and that they will do almost anything to get snouts in troughs. If we had a system that an MP could only stand for one 4 year term we might get more variety of people and people that actually want to do some good.

That's actually not a bad idea except with one proviso - they can be kicked out at any time without compensation if found to be incompetent, have been fiddling their expenses, have been `assisting` family and friends when it comes to jobs or financial help and are found out openly lying.

I think those caveats should narrow the field somewhat.

Yes I'll agree with you there Judd. It would as you say narrow the field and no one would be a career politician which is how IMO we have got into such a dreadful mess.

Re: Corbyn & Momentum Election Campaign Investigation

I often agree with you Purwell but the problem of career politicians has been around many years before brexit was even given the breath of life. A lot came from one university all one view on life that mummy and daddy told them was right.
