I doubt if the snow lasted long enough for people to starve, most would be well stocked up with something edible.

I am sure there are parts of the country where isolated people would be at much more risk.

Of course we should all check up on elderly/disabled/ill neighbours/friends/relations if we can.

I've got that much food in the cupboards, i could last a long time even in an emergency.

Especially when we get so many weather warnings. Of course might end up eating all sorts of unsuitable things, but can probably last out on biscuits for the short duration of a little bit of winter in London.

You can survive for 3 Minutes without air (oxygen) or in icy water. You can survive for 3 Hours without shelter in a harsh environment (unless in icy water) You can survive for 3 Days without water (if sheltered from a harsh environment) You can survive for 3 Weeks without food (if you have water and shelter)
