Re: Dr death

James I think it is good to talk about death, we have all got to go there, trouble is the only thing we do is make wills, stash them away and then forget them.
Quite often we think we might go first, but it don't work that way, we just don't know, it just happens.
I thunk you should keep talking about it mate, it obviously is something you would like to know more about.
Rather than upsetting someone sometimes, you can give them some comfort.
Goodnight god bless you.

Re: Dr death

James I understand it has been said that discussing death is the last great taboo .

It is not a subject that everyone is comfortable with but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be raised. People can choose to take or leave it...

Re: Dr death

It's fine to discuss these things imo but not in numerous threads at once, we don't need a new thread for every thought/question surely

You do seem to have had a fixation with the macabre James, I was beginning to wonder if you were, in fact, the Grim Reaper himself...

Re: Dr death

From nowhere strode the old harbinger
Straight through the crowd
Caught in his dark path
Slow raised long arm and bony finger
Grim faced and intent on his latest task
Is it me he’s looking for?

Nothing wrong with that, might be a good idea to talk about other things you are interested as well.

Re: Dr death

I am handling my Mother's death with humour, far better than being sad, imo..
