I think this will soon fizzle out now. Mrs May has promised to put things right and has also said people affected will be compensated if they were affected.

The paperwork has now been found anyway.

I am very sorry for the those who have been unfairly treated and am glad that all will be put right.
I am not so sure of compensation for all ,this will open the door to a tsunami of claims from all over the commonwealth.

So now they just have to give all the EU citizens living here British citizenship for free, no questions asked and it will be even Stevens!
