I suppose it all depends on how hungry you are, real hunger I.e starvation breaks down the social mores.

The only time I have actually been put off eating something was this toad:



in Malaysia and deep fried Cockroaches in Cambodia.

Actually I had eaten the toad before when it was just meat in a stir fry type of meal but seeing it being prepared put me off no end.

A Guinea Pig would just look like a small rabbit surely?

No l could not I had guinea pigs as pets and rabbits, plus cats and dogs. All of these animals are eaten by people with different traditions and cultures to ours. Personally l believe if l cannot eat dog l ought not to eat pigs thats why l am a vegan.
