Shame you're not closer, as I'd be more than happy to give you some support and pop in for a natter.
That is exactly what she needs fender, somebody to talk to that has been through chemo, so understands how she is feeling.
Deylon I am certain that you are feeling very ill and very frightened... we all feel that way when we have cancer and are treated with chemo. I was treated at a hospital, that only has cancer patients, and they were much more understanding than the people who are caring for you. Speak to your oncologist and tell him that the chemo is making you feel very ill and that isn't being helped by the lack of understanding, so where would he suggest that you can get some emotional help? All the TV ads, about cancer, say nobody should go through it alone..... but it sounds like that is what you are doing!

Re: Feeling Down

Oh Deylon,I'm so angry on Your behalf when I read how You've been treated in this so called caring society We live in,and I'm especially angry at Your useless Son..,what kind of Man would let His elderly Mum go through this on Her own and not lift a finger to help..I'd be tempted to give Him an ultimatum...I know You have a hearing problem,so tell Him He does more for You or out He goes..and mean it..I too wish I lived closer to give You some support..but all I can do is send a hug and hope things will somehow improve for You (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))..May x

Re: Feeling Down

Thankyou very much Twink, your pm was recieved and appreciated, replied to. Iam trying to get all the facts together 'who did/said what/ when '.I am not much good at standing up for myself, or explaining what has happened so I am writing down what happened and will bring it up with the consultant next week. I have a 24 hour emergency number to ring should I need it, but think I may just call for an ambulance if out of hours , let them deal with things.
The Hospital I am under is a specialist Cancer/Burns one, very good ,staff are so nice, but it is quite a long way from me, as I dont have access to a car,and it takes 2 buses aprox. 2 + hours to get there. Also they do not carry out surgery there, you have to go to a large busy Hospital in London for this. My local hospital is easier but a very busy general,no access to my case and has not very good name, So it a case of being between a rock & hard place
