10 minutes? Wow that's quick!

The Actifry took half an hour for 2 portions of chips.

Re: Chips.

Half an hour no ours cooks really fast the fan pushes the hot air all around so it cooks from all sides at once.

Re: Chips.

I don't usually like oven chips but Albert Bartlett Homestyle chips are lovely. I like the 'Rooster' potatoes they are made from.

Otherwise, l cut up potatoes into wedges. Sprinkle a little olive oil on them and either put salt and black pepper on them or Schwartz Perfect Shake Chips Herb and Spice blend. I cook them in a hot oven for 25-30 minutes.

Re: Chips.

I think there's nothing as good as chips from the chippy. All oily with lots of vinegar and salt.
Used to make my own in a deep-fat fryer, but getting rid of the oil was such a pain.

Not in a sarny - no.

It's nicer if you mix in some grated cheese and butter.

I think the recipe has improved since the robo years.
I always have some around for when I'm feeling lazy.

I use 'smash' to make cottage pie which I then spread with cheese and place under the grill to 'brown. Delicious!!!
