Any lepidopterists in here?

I have just found a tiny but lovely visitor in my kitchen and am having difficulty in identifying him/her. From the way the wings are held it is obviously a moth but - so far - have not found any other information.

Any ideas?

Hang on till our Nomkins sees it Tabs, he will know.

In the meantime, could it be either of these two moths?

Neither of those, Mups, but thank you for looking. I bet Nom will know. Not sure whether or not to put it out before the cats see it. It is just sitting on the roller blind at the moment - think I will leave it be until tonight.

It resembles a Clouded Border ST, but i will try and see if i can find it. There are thousands of moths and i only know a few.

Ok i think its a Magpie moth, or a Peppered moth faded by sunlight or a colour Morph.

Found it - it is a Small Magpie - thank you, Nom, for pointing me in the right direction - been looking on and off most of the day - visiting sites that people were kind enough to recommend. Apparently they are not normally seen until June - the weekend sunshine must have brought it out!
Here it is:-

Re: Any lepidopterists in here?

I left the kitchen window open all night so it could escape - it chose to stay and is currently sitting on the door of the spice cupboard. It really is pretty.
