Well I can only wear men's socks as they are bigger (my feet swell) and I used to buy multi packs in Morrisons. Now even they seem to have changed. I could do with some new ones and as I will be in Romford tomorrow shall have a good look.

As for knickers, bhs for me, but the gusset part always seems a bit too narrow for panty liners. And I prefer full brief (cos I has a fat arse!).

I always buy black Slazenger sports socks in packs of 6 pairs for about $10 they seem to last forever. If you lose or damage one just keep it until you lose another.

They last so well they end up being thrown away because so much washing has faded them. They're made where all clothes are made thee days, China.

I bought a pack of 6 pairs of socks from Boyes about 4 years ago and their just beginning to hole at the toes, they have a cosy warm feel and they weren't really expensive.

The only time my missus had sloggy knickers was the time she slipped and fell into the canal.

Ive tried all sorts of socks but its the heels that wear through on mine.

I always buy mens socks, much thicker and warmer but the past year has been pretty poor..

That´s the odd thing Bruce, buy socks and knickers in the Chinese shops here and they seem to last for ever, so why are they such rubbish when bought in Primark, after all they are apparently made in the same place?
