Re: Tadpoles

Ours is just a tiny pond tomcat, so not a lot of trouble to maintain. So far no frogspawn though, disappointing.

Re: Tadpoles

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread after today's frog party

Since I started this thread in February, there's definitely one tadpole left or is it a froglet as it is showing its tiny legs now. Can't believe it's so late!

The daft thing is, today the frogs have been at it almost non-stop, making their mating calls, frolicking around in the water and generally makings waves. And now there's loads of frog spawn.

I'm reet chuffed having new frog spawn when there's already a grown up tadpole (froglet). If it hangs around it will be able to tell the newbies what I get up to and where to hide when they hear the back door open

Must be because you've cleaned the pond Val

My pond is filthy and totally unloved but they seem to love it
