Re: New harry potter

I used to read them to my son at bedtime when he was about 9 or 10,
So I love the harry potter books and films also I met jk at a book signing ( my son couldn't go for reason that escapes me, ) so I went on my own and got a couple of books signed by her with a message that read, " to Harry's favorite cousin"( well it helps to have the same last name as the main character)

Re: New harry potter

I remember when the first one came out it was awarded the The Smarties Book Prize for children's literature.

My daughter bought a copy from Waterstones in Bath when she was about ten with her own pocket money, she was in her oils with it and didn't come up for air until she finished it.

Each release saw us down at our local Asda's at midnight so she could get the next installment, happy daze and fond memories of her excitement at getting the new copy.

They aren't my cup of tea but they've brought enormous pleasure to millions of children worldwide (and their parents).

Re: New harry potter

Must admit I enjoyed them, but I don't see where she can go with a new one as Harry and Co were all grown up and seeing their own children off to Hogworts at the end of the last book. The Dark Lord was destroyed so what else is there?......any ideas?

Re: New harry potter

This new release isn't a novel per se, it the script/story of the new play that's opening in London.

I wonder how many years it'll run for?
