Leonard Cohen wrote some good material, but when he sings "Hallelujah", it's enough to make you slit your wrists. That screaming stick insect, Alexandra Burke's version makes me feel sick.

IMO, Jeff Buckley's version is the only one worth a listen - and it's not exactly happy , more like depressing.
