Yes, yes, yes!!. I thought it was just me. I hate shows like X Factor or BGT because inevitably a female singer would start wailing, screaming, woh woh wowing. And if they hit a high note the audience would wet themselves, cheering and applauding. Me? I would grab the remote and turn them off, muttering 'oh FFS, you're not singing, you're caterwauling!'

Good call, zoo lady.

[QUOTE=Miranda53

It's not really a record, but every time I hear the "Go Compare" ad and that obnoxious song, I want to start screaming... (needless to say I mute the TV pretty quick).[/QUOTE]

And now the follow up 'committed to saving you money' has me rushing for the remote.

Aaargh!!!

I hate anything by:

P. McCartney (what a boring voice)
Whtney Houston
Lulu
Michael Bolton (fingernails on a blackboard experience)
Any contestant on BGT, X Factor etc.
Police
Kinks

The 'only' one I disagree with is 'the Kinks'
The rest - put them in Room 101

I can't stand that new-ish song called Mexican Lucky. It didn't take a genius to pen those lyrics!

Also, anything by Michael Buble.
